Politics is so involved in school today that it is a wonder that this principal stays at his job. He is slave to the administration above him who hire and fire him. If he says or does the politically "Incorrect" thing, he is in trouble. Teacher should be demoted and put on probation, however, he is not allowed to say that. Those above him will decide this dilemma. He has to protect the higher ups at all costs which leaves him holding the bag. I've seen it happen.

It's easy to shuffle the student around but we can't touch the teacher. Because it's not about the student, it's about the "teacher".
