Bernie Goldberg SMOKES Jon Stewart.

  1. Wow! You show 49 seconds of a 6+ minute segment. Why don't you show the entire bit? The part where O'Reilly asks "So does Stewart have a point here? Are we being hypocritical by generalizing about some people?"

And Goldberg replies: "I'll just speak about me. He does. I am pleading guilty and that's a sincere plea of guilty. I said that liberals think people who live in the middle of the country are a bunch of jerks and obviously all liberals don't think that."

Then, near the end of the segment when Goldberg is into his soliloquy O'Really interrupts and says "you're generalizing?" and Goldberg ignores him.

It's no wonder you advertist here as "A conservative blog for the A.D.D. Generation". Another fine example of "taken out of context".

  2. Bill "buy my merchandise" O'reilly's comments not withstanding, did Stewart handle Frank Rich with kid gloves or not? It seems to me that Goldberg's point was that Rich generalizes ALL THE TIME. Well nearly all of us generalize SOME of the time. That Goldberg did so in that segment doesn't mean that his criticism of Frank Rich is invalid. And Jon Stewart most certainly DID kiss Rich's liberal NYT ass. I don't need to see a six minute segment to get the point being made here. Frank Rich had his ass cheeks warmed by Jon Stewarts lips. Now you liberals can feel free to warm mine.

  5. Since Frank Rich hasn't been on TDS for, oh, 3-4 years (2006), it would've been nice for Goldberg to actually show the segment he was referring to on O'Reilly. So I suppose GunRights4US has a much better memory than myself w/o looking for the clip on Comedy Central. And GR4US doesn't have to see the entire segment because he already has his mind set on believing Jonah.

  6. @GunRights4US You also fail to point out that Jon Stewart kissed Bill Kristol's ass 5 times since Frank Rich
and he had a good time with John McCain that didn't errupt into a debate or fight. You all just like Goldberg have "selective outrage" syndrome. Jon stewart pointed out their Hypocrisy which defies their tagline "Fair and Balanced".
