V for Vitriol at the Union Rally.

What I saw at Saturday's Union Rally in Missouri: Intolerance, Name Calling, Threats of Rectal Procedures. Oh, and this Guy.

  1. Oh Sharp. I'm very proud of the way you handled yourself. I'm sure it wouldn't even occur to the guy in the mask that covering his face and calling you a hypocrite is almost laughably ironic.

  2. The one lady who said this was a Nazi tactic?

HOW DAMN SICK these people are!

These sick bastards...sorry, I can't be nice, my grandparents were murdered in Auschwitz, so I feel a bit more qualified to talk about "Nazi tactics"....these union thugs are not like Nazis either, but they are certainly skirting the edge of socialist sickness with what they want.

I'm PRAYING that Gov. Walker and other governors in similar positions hold strong against these folks, but I'm worried that we're seeing the end of American freedom; the police are backing the protesters in the Wisconsin State capitol and not clearing them out as ordered. This is the end of the rule-of-law, and these thugs, these people in the video and the ones in Wisconsin, if they prevail, we've had it as a nation/ We will have become Europe with its rot.

Kudos for being brave enough to stand among these creeps.

  3. I support the protesters but not the union agenda. Sounds pretty silly doesnt it. Great video, you showed a lot of integrity. Some of those folks have obviously never heard that discretion is the better part of valour.

  4. Did you get the part where the old cap guy (at 5:44) tried to explain how your camera was being used to threaten people as if it were a gun, and then got all agitated when we asked him to explain how your standing there with a camera was more threatening than the lady shoving her sign into your face to keep you from seeing or filming?

I'd like to see that, if it turned out, it's always fascinating to watch their facade of reasoning crumble at the first sign of having to defend their position.

  6. Honestly, Adam. I don't know how you do it. You should be a psychologist. You get people to reveal their inner souls every time.

  7. It's clear the "teachers" have never read the First Amendment.
What a heartening thought that they're teaching the next generation ...

  11. The Nazis were all about taking digital videos and posting them to the Internet.

    HISTORY FAIL.

And these people teach our children?

  12. And of course there was the accusation of using "Nazi tactics." Because, apparently the Nazis were known for filming people in public settings.

  14. The WEA (Wisconsin Education Association Council) union has something of a monopoly on the medical coverage from WI school districts as part of collective bargaining. Through the WEA Trust, school districts are paying a premium price for employees’ and their families’ health insurance at a profit for the WEA and at the expense of WI taxpayers. (Average monthly premium for singles and families is $134 and $199 MORE respectively than non WEA districts).

    Nice work Sharp!

  18. The rabid union thugs are some of the nastiest people I have ever had to deal with in a mob setting. I'd rather try to film the Hells Angels any day. I have a video I will have to get transferred from a tape of what some of my workers had to deal with UAW mob in Detroit

  19. Can the two little High Schooler Tea Baggers say goading? The guy with the mask, at the start of the edited clip, was approached by Mr. Elbows, and asked "what are you doing here today, Sir?" by Mr. Elbows. "An old friend."

And what's your excuse? Tourettes Syndrome?

  21. How is a selectively edited clip of five minute representative of an event that lasted more than two hours. Before all of you believe this so-called citizen journalist the real deal is that these fives mintunes of this Tea Party production amounts to only 2% of this event.
